Fun Themes!
(1st Semester)

Class Description:  Join Mrs. Laura for some fun with themes.  Every few weeks we will switch to a different thematic unit while incorporating stories, writing, reading, math, music art and science.  Since we are using thematic units it is adaptable to each child's skill level.  A small enrichment packet of "homework" will be sent home each week.  It is optional for your child to complete but it will help reinforce what we are learning in class.

Introduction or Aeronautics 
(1st Semester)

Class Description:  Have you ever wondered why a plane flies? How can a glider stay up for hours? Why do some planes travel faster than others? What is the difference between lift, drag, and thrust? All of these questions and many more will be answered in this fun introductory class to aeronautics. Classes will include many hands-on experiments that make aeronautics come to life.
